Michael is a career banker and investor with 30 years’ experience in Australia and Europe at organisations including Merrill Lynch, UBS and Société Générale. Prior to focussing on Synergis, Michael lead the Impact Investing team at Social Ventures Australia (SVA) and remains a member of SVA’s investment committees.
Michael was previously a non-executive director of the Sylvanvale Foundation and is currently a non-executive director of Horizon Housing Realty Ltd and Australian Affordable Housing Securities Ltd (both subsidiary companies of Community Housing Limited). Michael is passionate about developing the disability housing sector so that all Australians living with a disability have access to safe, high quality and appropriate housing, and is a member of the NDIS SDA Reference Group and the Chair of the SDA Alliance, the peak body for best practise SDA industry, .
